"7 Days" Watch Preview

Welcome to 7 Days! During times of stress and uncertainty it is important for us to have established routines that fill us with faith and hope!  

"7 Days" is a new way of having time with God on a regular basis. It helps to keep His Word on your mind throughout the day and to engage with God in a new and fresh way, each day.

The structure is really simple. Instead of reading a new scripture every day, you get to read one scripture for 7 days while asking God specific questions from day 1 to day 6. What makes this process different is learning to engage with God by stilling our selves, asking questions, listening and responding. Incorporating journaling, in a way that I call "effective journaling", helps to navigate the thoughts and emotions which often prevent us from hearing God.

In addition to sitting with God at the beginning of the day, I have embraced the practice of setting 2 alarms in the day to remind me of the scripture I am focusing on and then I return to journal again at night.

Finally, as a way to consolidate the experiences of the week, on day 7 we review with gratitude all that we've experienced with God and anticipate a new week with daily provision ahead.  

This course consists of 3 Training Sessions and 7 short videos offering you insight into the process as well as 7 additional videos that share the experiences of others as they walked through the "7 Days Devotional Challenge".   It provides instructions on how to engage with God through journaling and shares several tools and pdfs I've cultivated over the years through my counselling practice.  You will learn simple things you can do to shift patterns of thought and speech that directly inform your relationship with God, yourself and others.

Be sure to watch the 3 training sessions before starting Day 1. My Day 1 is on Monday, which helps me start the week off well! You're welcome to move through this course at your own pace and have your times of communion whenever it works best for you.  Be sure to let me know if you have any questions.
